Leaburn O Feb 2 Has its moments but for the most part an unremarkable traditional cowboy v nasty Indians yarn. John Wayne plays John Wayne in another forgettable performance. Some of the horse riding at the beginning is the real highlight. Mad skills. Watched on DVD. There's still Monument Valley, Apaches and fight g though. Still a great film. The plot can't decide what it wants to be: a family story, a story about the cavalry, or an adventure film with evil Indians. Besides, there's a bit too much singing for my taste.
