In a world of sentient robots, striving young inventor Rodney Copperbottom wants to work for the avuncular Bigweld, whose Bigweld Industries makes spare robot parts. But Bigweld has just been deposed as company head by the villainous Phineas T. Ratchet, who wants to make all robots submit to profitable forced upgrades. In this animated adventure, Rodney and his friend Fender go underground to fight Ratchet's evil plans.

The movie's admirable theme, that there are things more important than profit, comes across under the virtuoso visuals that peak when endless falling dominos turn into a veritable ocean of the little black blocks being surfed by a robot.

Esta obra no solo se queda en el mensaje de "sigue tus sueños" explora mas haya del protagonista para mostrar el mundo en el que se desarrolla y como un individuo puede impactarlo de tal modo que hace colapsar el sistema anticapitalista, lo que es el principal problema de la obra, mostrando la división marcada entre clases sociales y como las corporaciones no se preocupan por el individuo común incluso si eso significa negarles la vida, claro que al final de cuentas es una película infantil y termina con un final que se puede sentir apresurado y hasta idílico, pero para ser la segunda producida por su estudio fue excelente y rachet esta bien acá

Robots is one of my all time favorite movies. I can watch this movie over and over again, not get tired of it. Robin Williams plays Fender. Movie is good for any age. Its definitely a bit focused on pop culture jokes and the writing is all over the place, but the cast does make it enjoyable. Nothing crazy, but worth a watch on the off chance. Just kinda a nonsense movie to turn your brain off. Recommend watching this with friends while having some drinks. Definitely makes it go from a 2/5 to at least a 3.5/5
