Chris L @RT73166460 Sep 9 It's exceedingly difficult to tell a story that is, at once, a coming-of-age yarn and an end-of-life tale. SIBWC pulls off that nifty feat with plenty of bitter-sweet heart and feel-good charm to spare. A delightfully curious confection; like a chocolate-chili or carrot-cardamom cake that shouldn't work, but somehow does. Something about it really struck a chord with me. The portrayal of the different relationships in this film and how the two main characters were able to grow from them was absolutely beautiful. I thought the acting was raw, and the cinematography was great. Overall, it was an amazing movie that I was not expecting to love as much as I did. The second hour is the one that attracts the most attention and has the greatest emotional charge. Its biggest attraction is the cake parade, of course.
