When Helen, a London ad executive, is fired from her job and rushes out to catch a train, two scenarios take place. In one, she gets on the train and comes home to find her boyfriend, Gerry, in bed with another woman. In the second, she misses the train and arrives after the woman has left. Following the first scenario, Helen dumps Gerry, finds a new man and gradually improves her life. Under the second scenario, she becomes suspicious of Gerry's fidelity and grows miserable.

Gwyneth's accent threw me off for a second and I was kind of confused about the reasoning for a split universe. But overall a decent rom com with a different spin to it

Boring. I fought to finish it. I liked the concept, but watching her sniveling boyfriend got old pretty fast and the whole movie just felt devoid of fun or excitement.

This is a memorable film. It features great characters inhabited by great actors. It's tricky sometimes to keep the two timelines apart, but it's a clever concept and fun to watch.

Very good! Loved the intertwined storyline, very well written. Great to see Gwyneth Paltrow in one of her early lower budget movies, already showing brilliance. Whole cast excels in character. Clever cinematography and visually appealing. Enough drama, intrigue, emotion, suspense, confusion and twists to keep it interesting.
