Of the feature films, this is arguably the best, depicting them yet again as two blank slates upon which nothing is written. Sir Walter Scott once penned the couplet ""Oh, what a tangled web we weave / When first we practice to deceive", and 'Sons of the Desert' - sometimes styled 'Fraternally Yours' - shows how conjugal deception can be dangerous, and why honesty might indeed (sometimes at least) be the best policy.
