As someone who loves Sandra Bullock and her work, I wanted to enjoy this movie more, but it is definitely one of her weaker films. It is not a terrible movie, but it never reaches the level of the blockbuster that came before it. Sandra Bullock delivers a strong performance as always, bringing her charm and energy to the role, while William Dafoe gives a memorable and committed performance as the villain. The biggest issue is the screenplay, especially the decision to move the action from a bus to a cruise ship. While the concept had potential, it never created the same urgency or suspense. The story feels more like a separate action movie rather than a true continuation of the first film.
