In the 23rd century, the Starship Enterprise is dispatched to the scene of a giant energy field about to engulf two ships. Capt. Kirk (William Shatner) averts calamity, but is exposed to the field and presumed dead. Years later, the Enterprise's new commander, Capt. Picard (Patrick Stewart), learns that one of the disaster's survivors, Dr. Soran (Malcolm McDowell), plans to enter the field by destroying a neighboring star. Picard now must collaborate with an unlikely ally in order to stop him.

For every good moment there are two or three awkward ones, and while there is an undeniable thrill of seeing the two “generations” of Enterprise captains working together, it is hard not to wish that the film had more grandeur and more guts.

The movie was ok, but can't help getting over the coloring of the faces of most of the actors. Their faces look like they have severe sun burn. Their faces are bright red and can’t help but notice. It kinda ruins the movie for me. I am surprised I didnt notice it before, but was a teenager when I saw it the first time. It really distracts from the movie for me. This will be my first and last review on rotten tomatoes. Every time I try to check. I have to change the settings so they don't sell my data. This site has really gone down hill and won't be using it again.

I find it fascinating that Star Trek: Generations was produced and released months after The Next Generation was over. Of course, Star Trek: The Motion Picture came out a decade after the original series was canceled, so I guess it’s not without precedent. I enjoyed seeing the two casts come together in one film, although the movie itself is not without its issues. The plot is messy, and there’s not enough room for all the characters. Star Trek: Generations feels more like an extended episode of the TV series than a movie. I thought the story made some bold choices, though, for better or for worse.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
