I like a few of the actresses but it was clear that they were phoning it in and it’d be easy to put the blame at their feet but I think it’s more indicative of a lousy script with bad dialogue and no direction. See more Bill T. @btreakle Feb 12 “Stone Cold Fox “ This film called stone cold fox stars Kiernan shipka Jamie Chung and Kirsten Ritter. The premise of the story is a young woman who got caught up at a oppressive commune that was dealing drugs somehow escaped and later have to decide that she wanted to somehow break back in and save her sister who was kidnapped. And this is her story did get a lot of big high praise and also Kiefer Sunderland is in this one. Kiefer plays a dirty cop in this particular film and does a great job supporting the main cast. Despite a cast that should elevate the material, the movie is painfully boring and unfocused from the start. The screenplay is all over the place, constantly hinting that it might build toward something engaging, only to lose momentum and sink back into dull, disconnected scenes. There are brief moments where it feels like the story could finally come together, but those sparks fade quickly, replaced by slow pacing and a lack of narrative drive. The direction feels inconsistent, as if the film never decided what kind of story it wanted to tell, leaving scenes to drift without tension or purpose. Even strong performers are wasted here, buried under weak writing and poor execution. Ultimately, Stone Cold Fox is forgettable, frustrating, and hard to recommend. It’s a film that tries to intrigue but ends up being boring at its best and a complete misfire overall. See more Read all reviews
