Serial killer movies are reasonably common, but this film isn't full of violent scenes. It relies instead on an undertone of violence created by the killers son knowing his father's true nature. The ending is a bit soft, it appears the script writer wrote themself into a corner. I thought the acting was solid enough to carry the viewers interest. The cinematography, acting, and writing quality scream low budget. If only a major studio gave it a chance because it had the potential of being a decent thriller like Disturbia. So Tyler and Kassi staged Don's suicide but what happened to the woman that Don tried to suffocate but survived? Did she not report it to the police and went along with the coverup?
