Beck (The Rock) is a tight-lipped bounty hunter who doesn't like to use a gun and accepts any job without asking questions. When Beck's employer, Walker (William Lucking), sends him to the Amazon to locate Walker's cocky son, Travis (Seann William Scott), Beck discovers a population controlled by a tyrannical treasure hunter (Christopher Walken). To survive, Beck and Travis must work together, without their affections for a mysterious rebel (Rosario Dawson) getting in the way.

The Rock and Seann William Scott work up some nice comic chemistry, but it's the dependably warped Walken who steals the most scenes. The frenetically edited fight sequences will satisfy the blood lust of the target audience.

With charm, style and just a bit of winking intelligence, Johnson shows a magical ability to carry a picture from start to finish. If only the movie was worth the star's winning efforts.

Filme legal, o roteiro é bacana, as cenas de ação são bacaninhas, o elenco é bom, e alguns ajudam a melhorar o filme, a história é boa, do the rock junto com outroas pessoas irem para uma selva no brasil, com isso, eu até recomendo esse filme.

With the power of hindsight, it is funny to see how this movie would become the blueprint for all future Rock projects. Yes, it takes place in the jungle, where Johnson would make his home in both "Jumanji" and "Jungle Cruise". But even without that point, the whole thing just screams 'Rock Movie'. The action-comedy tone, the random fight scenes based on simple misunderstandings, the action being a series of quick cuts that are barely watchable, the bad CGI and even the way the story unfolds is all classic Dwayne Johnson style. Most importantly, the character he plays is the character he would go onto play in every movie going forward. Oh, and Christopher Walken is in this, and he is always a fun box of crazy. If you're a fan of The Rock, then this movie will be right up your alley. But if you think his movies are OK at best, this one is a run of the mill action movie.

Disagree with some of the negative reviews like it had no plot well it has to have a plot to be film 4/5 as it does get slightly repetitive in places
