It felt like whoever adapted the story didn’t truly understand or maybe didn’t even read the book! Everything was so rushed, and so many important details and emotional moments were either skipped or barely touched on. The depth of the characters and the slow, painful development of their relationship was what made the book so powerful, and that just didn’t come across on screen. See more rameneformaggio T @RT53299213 Nov 4 The only good thing is the visual but nothing else can save this movie, terrible and uneducational for its target audience: a love story that seems like a thriller. The acting is terrible (I saw it in the original language), the dialogue is so unrealistic it's absurd—no one would ever speak like that—and the characters' actions are completely random; the male protagonist is just a creep speaks and acts like a criminal. I can't understand anything; to be honest, the male protagonist has no reason to be such an asshole with her (I don't even remember their names, God), he could have just ignored that poor girl, but since he's been "in love" with her since day one he has to treat her roughly, but yeah let's romanticize it! The writing itself is beyond comment. This movie proves that money is worth more than a good product.
