There's a taste of Roald Dahl, a hint of Despicable Me and a dollop of Mary Poppins , but, all spun together, they form a delightfully dark (but not too dark) story about finding the true value of family.

10000000/10 This movie was incredible! Best CGI movie ever. Jane's singing voices is beautiful, RICKY GERVAIS (AKA Flippy the Fish from Dog Man) AS THE CAT?!, I can tell Maya Rudolph's voices from ANYWHERE now, and the rest of this movie, peak cinema. Dark Story, bright colors. Anyways, fantastic movie and please PLEASE make a sequel!

It started off interesting but there were times where the plot wandered and the story seemed to be less about the Willoughbys and more about the side characters. There were also strange parts of the story that are never quite explained (did they actually have yarn for hair?). I don't know. I would watch with very low expectations...

A pretty base level animated movie with a thin plot that barely scrapes the surface of its surprisingly deep idea, but it's executed poorly, so I can't say this movie was worth watching

If you’re into a family adventure yet funny film this is definitely for you. It has a very exiting animation and wonderful characters, like Tim and the Twins, but also some interesting characters like the Parents. It could of used a bit more time on the story and the characters but all in all it is a very well done film.
