Kids will undoubtedly want to check out these new improved Turtles . . . and a lot of parents will probably be glad to have, uh, shelled out the extra bucks to relive their own childhoods alongside them.

Innocent fun but a bit underwhelming due to a weak story, lack of humor and a developed villain. The animation is good by 2007 standards.

Rightful cinematic medium surpassing its quirky live-action predecessors while somewhat squandered when the deliverance is mechanically half-fulfilled but satisfyingly fun nonetheless when presenting the core defining elements between the well-performed humorous heart and rushed midway action sequences amidst problematically contrived narration.
