In the meantime, I don't want to oversell a near-great B-movie that is nonetheless a B-movie. Suffice to say Tragedy Girls has great fun with myriad horror movie tropes.

The lovely little psychopaths, the gore gags, the realistic and entertaining exchanges: they are all perfect. While the ending isn’t necessarily realistic, it’s tied in a pretty pink blood splattered bow and I was really happy with it.

It's the casual talk about killing for me. Delightfully psycho. It's pretty funny. Alexandra Shipp is so good. She nails the comedic timing and charisma. The movie has some fun poking at high school movie tropes while also wielding scathing social commentary about social media and popularity. It's perfectly cringey and uncomfortable to see on exaggerated display, while still landing as funny satire.

I was quite disappointed in this movie. It has a strong opening scene, but then just slid further and further into "OMG girlboss" nonsense. The protagonists were so unlikeable that I was rooting for anything ANYTHING to give them what they were due. There were no payoffs. "The bad girls win every time and get away with it with no stakes or consequences and everyone cheered." They weren't even fun to watch. There wasn't a sliver of believability to them not getting caught either.

WOW THIS MOVIE WAS ON A GOOD TRACK IN THE BEGINNING, BUT I TOTALLY AGREE WITH ALL THE OTHER VIEWERS THIS WAS A TOTAL MESS AFTERWARDS. THIS CANT BE TO SERIOUS OF A MOVIE WITH TEENAGE GIRLS THAT ARE OBSESS OF THEMSELFS AND SOCIAL MEDIA. I SURE WAS HOPING THEM LUNATICS GOT CAUGHT AT THE END I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE.
