After an epic battle, a great city lies in ruins, but the Earth itself is saved. As humanity begins to pick up the pieces, a shadowy group emerges to try to take control of history. Meanwhile, an ancient and powerful new menace sets its sights on Earth. Okay, even though this movie was very unnecessary, but let me be honest. This movie is not bad, but it have issues. First, the movie was so long, second, a transformium thing that makes into a pixel floating blocks thing to make the transformers copies to turn them into robots is lazy and pointless, and third, a 20 year old character dating a 17 year old minor is really not a good thing. There's some good stuff like, humans making their own Transformers is good, the villain was cold, and the final act was good only a little bit. 5 out of 10. It's not bad, but it's not great.

Genuinely an embarrassment to the transformers franchise. Sloppy storyline, inconsistent details, editing errors, never feels like there are real stakes. The villains aren’t threatening. Too many sub plots. Just flat out bad. Currently, I cannot think of a worse movie I’ve seen.

The only way I can describe this film is 'Completely American'. The characters are very surface level, at least the human ones. The director has shoved every possible action plot point he could think of and made it into this film.
