Grace Jones is one of the great undiscovered countries of contemporary entertainment... Vamp is like all of her other movies, however. It doesn't know what to do with her. Go to Full Review

Vamp is Fright Night-lite but has a certain charm to it that keeps it from feeling like a retread. Also, Grace Jones own every scene she is in. Go to Full Review

Tom T @ForTheLoveofMovies1970 2d I was sixteen when I saw this film and it was so much fun. It is very disappointing that more people have not rated this one. Further, it is a crime that it has not been remastered for 4K disc. This cast is so good and their chemistry works on every level. Grace Jones is the ruthlessly seductive vampire, Robert Rusler is the over-confident and shallow guy who has the tables turned on him by Jones. Then it is a frantic make-it-out-alive race against time for Chris Makepeace and Dedee Pfeiffer. The premise is simple. Two college freshmen seek admission into an exclusive fraternity and are guaranteed entry if the pledges can secure a stripper for the house party. Off they go, reluctantly taking Gedde Watnabe with them because it is his car they use. Sandy Baron (Seinfeld) is the nightclub manager who endlessly tries to make his establishment, populated by vampires, like the classy clubs in Las Vegas. I hope more people watch this movie and then grade it higher than it has now.
