Torin F @nonlinearize Mar 21 WORTH transforms its complex and somber subject into a worthy film subject, offering a sensitive portrayal of the legal, political, social, and moral accounting that informed the laudable 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. Avoiding flashy dramatization, the film remains patient and grounded, if a little slow at times, with an equally understated impact that is nonetheless informative and perhaps even quietly inspiring. Michael Keating and Stanley Tucci are both excellent as they essentially square off as leader of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Keeneth Feinberg and widower community organiser Charles Wolf (Stanley Tucci), but ultimately this is a sombre rather than joyous movie. This film, with a reasonably explanatory title, adds onto the sensitively distraught narrative surrounding 9/11 with a finalizing question that pushes the thematic dedication with humane convictions empathetically written, during the financial complication as an unseen, unconsidered factor that was thrillingly treaded. At the end, it celebrates in memory after reactive, argumentative performances in concurrently compromising a line within respective objectivities, thus a positionally polished conclusion to the devastated impacts, despite the delivered pacing.
