Mr. Crocket (2024) 68% EDIT “Mr. Crocket is embellished with horrific moments that feel like home, and features a great new horror villain!” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Bad Haircut (2025) 100% 3/5 EDIT “Bad Haircut is a bizarro psychological thriller that will surely find its audience once it’s out in the wild.” – Dread Central Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Birthright (2025) 3.5/5 EDIT “I recommend checking out Birthright, but not for the thrills; check it for the humor and relatability. Working every day, just to be swallowed up by circumstances, is the true horror story.” – Dread Central Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Dog of God (2025) 88% 3/5 EDIT “The film floats between being adjacent to reality to flying off the hinges in a very surreal way. As the movie progressed, I shifted from being intrigued, bewildered, disgusted, and in awe.” – Dread Central Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Bones (2001) 29% EDIT “Bones has more to offer than cheesy B-movie antics. Bones offers an inside look at thriving Black communities and how putting money before the community harms everyone. It’s a beautiful, yet tragic, love story intertwined with a tale of revenge.” – Dread Central Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Alpha (2025) 57% EDIT “Alpha is beautifully shot with great dialogue, however when time and reality unravel the film becomes a bit difficult to follow. ” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror (2019) 100% EDIT “ poignant, yet humorous at times. It is necessary homework for any horror fan.” – Horror Movie Blog Apr 4, 2026 Full Review Sharknado (2013) 78% EDIT “This movie knows what it is and rides the self-awareness for the whole movie. It's plenty of fun if you love silly shark movies.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 28, 2026 Full Review Until Dawn (2025) 51% EDIT “Until Dawn has decent effects, but it should have never been associated with the video game; it's barely has the same essence.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 28, 2026 Full Review Gothika (2003) 15% EDIT “While the nostalgia keeps me coming back, the script is hard to overlook. Halle Berry is one of the best things about this film.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 28, 2026 Full Review Send Help (2026) 93% EDIT “ Send Help balances the humor and high stakes well” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 28, 2026 Full Review Alien: Romulus (2024) 80% EDIT “"Alien: Romulus gets the the creatures, setting, and performances right. However, some of the character arcs are downright egregious!"” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Mickey 17 (2025) 78% EDIT “"I loved the dark humor and complicated characters. Some of the commentary might feel heavy handed on screen until you start compiling our news headines."” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review A Quiet Place: Day One (2024) 86% EDIT “This new entry is a beautiful balance between horror, action, and drama that will keep the entire family engaged” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review The First Omen (2024) 83% EDIT “The First Omen is worth your time, especially if you need a quick demon fix on a Friday night.” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Sting (2024) 70% EDIT “This brand of horror is guaranteed to stick with you if you have an aversion to spiders. ” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Cure (1997) 94% EDIT “"The Cure blends the grotesque with the mundane, putting the viewer in a position to slip between dream and nightmare seemlessly"” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Weapons (2025) 93% EDIT “"Weapons is uniquely delightful and terrifying"” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Ma (2019) 55% EDIT “"It's infuriating how this movie wastes the perfect setup for a villain"” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Beloved (1998) 72% EDIT “A haunting Black southern gothic tale that blends the ideas of horror, history, and home together.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Watcher (2022) 88% EDIT “Watcher is a slow burn that creeps from zero to incinerate, while managing to keep the viewer in suspense.” – Girl, That's Scary (Podcast) Mar 16, 2026 Full Review 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) 92% EDIT “Overall, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is a tight package of "hell yeah, more please," ” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Night Patrol (2025) 53% EDIT “Night Patrol feels like someone took Colors (1988), Baller Blockin’ (2000), and 30 Days of Night (2007) and put them in a blender. The mix is unbalanced and chaotic, but entertaining nonetheless.” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Reawakening (2024) 82% EDIT “ Overall, Reawakening is a decent drama. However, the mystery is mediocre, and the thrills are not in the room.” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review The Gates (2026) 52% 3/5 EDIT “The Gates is an entertaining thriller if you can ignore some of the dialogue. There is also a studio scene that made me scream internally” – Horror Movie Blog Mar 16, 2026 Full Review
