Turbulence (2025) 33% 4/10 EDIT “A little movie that isn't able to reach its medium sized ambitions but may as well suffice for some audiences half-watching it one lousy afternoon. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Apr 3, 2026 Full Review Project Hail Mary (2026) 94% 9/10 EDIT “A fun sci-fi adventure with one foot in realistic drama and another one in the stars. Sprinkles some of its more highbrow influences with a lot of comedy, almost reaching all of their cumulative heights in the process. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 31, 2026 Full Review Lo que quisimos ser (2024) 9/10 EDIT “An endearing drama about the power of fiction to help us make the best out of disappointments and being able to find beauty in what's left (or even missing) in life. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 31, 2026 Full Review Verbrannte Erde (2024) 7/10 EDIT “While devoid of any of the juvenile artifice and usual spectacle of the genre, this is a satisfying thriller that employs austere narrative and cold realism to offer a worthwhile crime story. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 31, 2026 Full Review The Room Next Door (2024) 80% 9/10 EDIT “An engaging drama about a difficult topic that explores the weight of finding one's role in the difficult task of being there for someone's own struggle. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 31, 2026 Full Review Simon of the Mountain (2024) 91% 8/10 EDIT “The universal coming of age journey's enriched by spotlighting the particular in this fresh tale that manages to lighten a topic usually handled with too much weight. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 31, 2026 Full Review Gladiator II (2024) 70% 9/10 EDIT “A ridiculous roman spectacle for those who can avoid getting in the way of their own enjoyment. The solemn drama of the original is overwhelmed by Scott's last decade of excess. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 31, 2026 Full Review The Human Hibernation (2024) 10/10 EDIT “An unapologetically odd meditation on what a more animalistic type of human society could be, made by an invaluable new voice in sci-fi that pushes the genre towards more adventurous territory akin to its literary counterpart. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 25, 2026 Full Review Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed (2024) 100% 10/10 EDIT “One of the most engaging south american films of the decade. A unique masterwork that in between documentary and fiction builds a family drama out of an inventive use for found VHS footage. A communal Godfather a la argentina. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 24, 2026 Full Review The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024) 49% 8/10 EDIT “Manages to offer a worthy return for Middle Earth fans while showing the unusual strengths and usual fallings of japanese animation. Easy to enjoy and, hopefully for the franchise, a path forward for future projects. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 24, 2026 Full Review Queer (2024) 77% 9/10 EDIT “A cinematic triumph for both Craig and Guadagnino, filled with dramatic confidence and creative bravery that elevates an already incredible original work from one of the most important authors from last century. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 24, 2026 Full Review Sting (2024) 70% 8/10 EDIT “A vintage effort that, without the crutches of nostalgia, manages to offer some scares and laughs for every family member. Creative filmmaking with real spark that's keenly aware of it's limitations. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 24, 2026 Full Review Strange Darling (2023) 96% 6/10 EDIT “A rebel gem that doesn't mind its own messiness, with the potential to be a formative experience for many young cinephiles and future filmmakers alike. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 24, 2026 Full Review Our Land (2025) 94% 9/10 EDIT “Martel delivers cinematic justice in the form of a documentary that transcends its own synopsis to offer an invaluable effort in empathy towards humanity's eternal struggle to assert it's value and identity beyond the material. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review The Souffleur (2025) 3/10 EDIT “A particular but not really successful effort to deliver very few people with a very lukewarm time. One interesting performance and a sterile attempt to being interesting sometime's not enough. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Crime 101 (2026) 89% 7/10 EDIT “A slick and solid kind tale that doesn't get made anymore, but it's biggest triumph is creating but a glimpse of what used to be a barely above-average action thriller in past decades. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Hamnet (2025) 87% 8/10 EDIT “Zhao manages to offer quite a memorable experience out of a project too ambitious for it's own good, bolstering real history with enough poetic and mystical qualities to push Hamnet's tale into myth. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) 92% 5/10 EDIT “A lesser film than it's predecessor, offers nonetheless enough moments of bizarre personality to engage with fans of this renewed zombie saga that trascends life, death and frankly, any logic. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Marty Supreme (2025) 93% 9/10 EDIT “At it's weakest, this film's just straight entertainment. But thanks to some strange moments of brilliance and a spectacular beginning and end, this is easily one of the best films of both Chalamet's and Josh Safdie's career. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Paprika (2006) 87% 10/10 EDIT “A must see masterpiece for every animation and cinema fan out there. The magnum opus of one of the greats that feels both intimately precise and impossibly ambitious. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Primate (2025) 78% 7/10 EDIT “A surprisingly solid script isn't enough to make this unabashedly entertaining premise stick the landing, thanks in part to a mostly generic cast of characters and an ending that's not up to par. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review MadS (2024) 94% 7/10 EDIT “A tense nocturnal descent into the chaos of youth that proves particularly engaging thanks to the project's one take ambition. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Eyes of the Abyss (2025) 5/10 EDIT “An irregular experience that could be engaging for independent film fans, ends up sinking it's intriguing beginning and ambitious finale into the muddy waters of stretched length and cliches. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review Heads or Tails? (2025) 87% 9/10 EDIT “An irreverent western than manages to uphold the more classical aspects of the genre while keeping it fresh thanks to having one feet in the past and the other in just keeping things fun. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinéfilo Serial Mar 21, 2026 Full Review The Running Man (2025) 61% 8/10 EDIT “Edgar Wright pulls off another solid action effort with plenty of personality that somehow keeps feeling lesser than the genre defining parodies of his early years.
