This movie brings a modern take on the confusing physical, social and emotional challenges in adolescence that are both personal and universal. If you are an adolescent, then this film wonderfully gives you a take on the importance of having strong communication and support between you and loved ones. If you have children of your own, then this film is a wonderful example of the modern experiences adolescents go through that parents may not see behind closed bedroom doors (explicit text messages, bad peer advice, etc.). And simply, this film will bring you back to a time when you once navigated similar peer pressure, relationships, independence and mental health. I recommend this film to everyone.
