Dark H @DarkHao Feb 2 Tons of fun. Great movie for a bunch friends to watch while downing some brewskis! Total 80s vibe, hot babes, over and under acting, creative kills, and having lived in hawaii during the 90s loved the cinematography! I would have loved to see some big samoan bad guys, there was maybe one (he was hilarious unintentionaly), but this movie delivers! The skater and blowup doll kill was a meme/reel i e scene many times and is classic! Andy Sidaris had a small role but he had some funny lines explaining how he loved his date for her brains not her bod lol. I recommend tbe bluray with special features where they go behind scenes. Wish Vinegar Syndrome would make a uhd release. If they have i cant find it but maybe one day!! See more Rick L @RT11437358 Sep 15 I saw this towards the end of OSUT (basic training) in 1987. Imagine a group of 17 - 20 year old guys who had not hardly seen a woman in a month walking out a movie that was strictly T&A and saying Damn that movie was bad. While this may not be the worst movie ever it is definely in the running. The snake looks like a sock, the frisbee that has razor blades all around it etc. If you took away 75% of my IQ points I would still think this movie was stupid. As a B(oob) grade action movie it totally lives up to its low brow intentions. But so many questions.. why bring a blow up doll to a hit job, why get in a spa topless for a 5 second brainstorming session? is death by razor frisbee really possible? And for a movie about a drug trade - where were the drugs?? And lastly was the the 2:1 ratio of chauvinistic comment to boobs intentional? But seriously... See more DanTheMan 2 @DanTheMan2150AD 07/31/2023 Even throwing an inch of criticism at Hard Ticket to Hawaii would be a grave injustice, the flaws are obvious but when they are executed with such passion and panache as it is here, it's simply impossible not to love it. Riding in on that wave of Bondsploitation with such a unashamedly cheesy style, where every moment leaves you howling with laughter intentional or not. It's pretty much eye candy with some of the most bizarre action you'll probably ever see, be it the skateboarder and sex doll vs bazooka or the razorblade frisbee, it certainly leaves you questioning the entire concept of so bad it's good. You may think you won't like this film but you'd be dead wrong. For my first Bullets, Bombs, and Babes film all I can say is, Andy Sidaris, I love you dude. I can't wait for more.
