This should not exist. It is simply picking over long-clean bones for bad reasons: poking a terrible bruise for the pleasure of onlookers. Go to Full Review

The Investigation of Lucy Letby does not compare in its attention to detail, preferring a broader-brush, more emotive telling of the story. Go to Full Review

...it suffers from the current irritating documentary trend of having contributors talking in the present tense about past events. But it does give a fascinating insight into the police investigation and their treatment of their chief suspect. Go to Full Review

... watching a Netflix true crime documentary like this is tough. It’s about the untimely and shocking deaths of many newborn babies, which IS a hard watch. And it is so very easy to get angry at Lucy Letby for not reacting as you may... Go to Full Review

Kristen B. @SagiTurq 6h This documentary utilized AI to recreate humans in emotional interviews. It’s distracting and disturbing that we’re allowing AI into film. I turned it off as soon as I saw this first AI impersonation. See more Caroline L @Koala171 7h Should get zero stars. This is not filmmaking. AI slop. Such a serious topic, to use AI characters is unforgivable. Use actors. Made it unwatchable. See more Benjamin E @Benjamin97 18h Genuinely one of the worst uses of Ai slop I've ever seen. Lazy documentary makers. I felt detached immediately. Turned off after 10 minutes. See more Anna-Laura @allawson87 1d The documentary is just slow and there isn't any new information presented than the average person already heard. The defense lawyer is just ridiculous is coming up with reasons why she isn't guilty. It's just disgusting and unbelievable. I wouldn't waste your time. See more Ed C @Broadfield78 1d Really poor - very one sided and uses weird AI characters for no reason whatsoever when the actual people themselves are happy to talk on other documentaries you can find on other channels! All a bit weird and a bit dramatised See more Alle W @candifluffy 1d Much a'do about nothing with AI thrown in for no particular reason, to preserve anonymity it flashes up on screen in a jarring way that reminds you, as of you needed to be reminded, that the fake person showing no emotions what so ever was AI slop. Apart from this, there wasn't anything particularly new or interesting revealed, or if there was maybe I'd missed it after being distracted by the unnatural use of AI. Either way, I hope this doesn't become the norm, it reeks of laziness which seems be where Netflix documentaries are heading these days. See more Read all reviews
