When David (Luke Wilson) and Amy's (Kate Beckinsale) car breaks down, they have little choice but to spend the night at a remote hotel. The couple entertain themselves by watching low-budget slasher movies on TV -- until they realize that the horrifying images they see were recorded in the room in which they are staying. Kit out the Bates Motel with surveillance cameras, replace Anthony Perkins with the ineffectual Frank Whaley, and you'd have the location for this irritatingly cheapjack snuff-horror thriller, starring Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale as a depressed couple

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This was a well acted and disturbing thriller. Beckinsale and Wilson are perfect as a couple that is in the absolute dying throes of a relationship, who are frighteningly cast together in order to spare themselves a horrific outcome. Frank Whaley is perfectly cast as the creepiest of the creepy. This movie is dark and riveting.

Is Psycho meets Saw meets The Strangers in a very effective home invasion slasher horror snuff movie and is really creepy and scary as hell.

The plot is disjointed and illogical at many points and seems to run out of ideas on how the cat and mouse chase can keep going. The last 10 minutes of the movie basically is why this movie was made that the bad guys got what they deserved
