The life and career of shock-jock superstar Howard Stern (himself) is recounted from his humble beginnings to his view from the top. Possessing a desire to be an on-air personality since childhood, Stern meanders through the radio world, always with his supportive wife, Alison (Mary McCormack), by his side. Landing a gig in Washington, D.C., Stern meets Robin Quivers (herself), who will become his long-time partner in crime. When the two move to New York, they face the wrath of NBC executives.

Howard Stern is one of the most divisive pop culture figures in history. That said, I strongly recommend—particularly to those who can’t stand him—this excellent movie, based on his autobiography. You’ll be surprised at this intimate portrait of a man’s rising success, and more importantly, his nature as a self-aware human being and devoted husband. Also, as vulgar as its humor can get… it’s genuinely hilarious as hell.

Let's face it; being misunderstood is the fate of all true geniuses that's what Howard Stern became when he succeeded turning into the biggest disc jockey in NYC the film tracks his start of life wanting to be on the radio as a talk show host and using his own brand of unorthodox humor to make it big it's very funny and very hard-hitting Betty Thomas handles this kind of biographical material with such wit and charm and it doesn't hurt that she has his wife, Allison (Mary McCormack) thrown into the mix she's always stuck by him even when he had trouble finding respectable work in the radio business with NBC he says that's something you have to count on to have such a reliable life partner we get all the 'private parts' in this from sex jokes to private details of Howard's life being broadcasted as part of his program love it or hate Stern has a knack for the vulgar and the obscene with no shortage of laughs
