Director David Gordon Green (The Righteous Gemstones) usually knows what to do with unlikable characters, but it can be hard to watch the petulant Hawkins as he treats people terribly and thinks only of himself (at least in early episodes).

It reminded me a bit of Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore golf comedy, but it was still very entertaining and didn’t make me want to stop watching. Will Ferrell will always make you laugh.

Loved this show as sort of hold guy and big comedy guy it was great . From a professional pov I mean it’s a will pharrel show so it was stupid but it was really funny and kept me in the whole series . So for a good week long show grind , this one is perfect for comedy

It was a good show to watch which family. It was very goofy and included funny golf humor. I thought the characters were perfect for the roles that they played. Will Ferrell always makes the funniest movies and shows. This made me want to play golf.

If you liked Will Ferrell 20 years ago you will love this. It’s Ferrell funny, also properly funny, and just a little bit more grown up. The other cast members are great too - particularly the lady who plays his caddy.
