Peter B @DuneMan Jun 12 Fantastic animated movie! Great animation, graphics, story, impressive environments, and music tracks. The story is entertaining, unpredictable and full of adventure. The characters are unique, relatable, and have great character development. This is a great movie for all ages. Lots of jokes and visual gags that kids and adults will get and love. Worth rewatching for the small things you may have missed. This film is a work of love and it shows. My only complaint is that was only 90 minutes. There is a sequel and it's equally or more so as entertaining to watch. The story moves at a good pace and delivers a positive message about diversity, self-acceptance, and learning to embrace what makes us different. Those themes are handled with sincerity and are probably the film’s strongest aspect. The characters are likable enough, and the world is colorful and adventurous, even if the humor rarely becomes truly memorable or laugh-out-loud funny. Adults may find the plot quite predictable, but younger viewers will likely enjoy the action, the friendship between the characters, and the overall light-hearted atmosphere. It may not stand out among the best modern animated movies, but it remains a pleasant family film with a good heart and an important message for kids. The 7 year old liked the numerous homages to Indiana Jones movies. I liked the adult jokes. I thought the animation was good. The story was OK. See more Kervin G @RT97295392 09/12/2023 I got very curious about this animated movie that I never even heard of so I decided to give this movie a try for myself. Based on the graphic novels of Chickenhare. Some of the scenes of the movie including the whip almost have a similar feel to Indiana Jones but set in fantasy styled setting. The movie looks colorful as I see fit. The details like the rain for example look absolutely decent. And most of the parts are a bit cartoony though. I really like some of the character designs in the movie. Somehow some of the characters in the movie look a bit interesting like the skunk named Meg. Although she has pros like her martial arts style and her stench she did not absolutely bring much help during the pig tribe scene. While the villains like Lapin didn't have enough reasons why. Although the movie has plot holes. I just really want to know how a chick and a hare can actually breed for some reason. I feel like this needed to have a sequel though.
