I don't know what I was expecting... but it wasn't something so simple yet simultaneously so profound. It was so raw, and so real. Sometimes all it takes is someone to love to change you and your life. John Saxby was an incredibly relatable character. And Gheorghe... ugh, what a sweetheart. Both of the lead actors were spectacular. The shots of the environment and the farm animals felt equally as important and beautiful as everything else. I had no idea this film even existed until it was recommended to me just yesterday. Makes me wonder what kind of queer gems are out there that I don't even know about.

I saw this movie a couple of years ago when I was younger and I was fascinated by the plot, since it tells us about several things that happen in real life and touches on them in a pleasant and gentle way for the audience.
