I hope they make a sequel See more r 9 @RT00952237 08/15/2020 I've seen worse, though that's not to say this isn't bad - it most certainty is. The premise is fairly interesting but, as usual with films from the The Asylum, the special effects and overall acting let it down massively. With that said, the actors are probably the most noteworthy part - I'd say the performance are, mostly, better than your average production of this type. Natalie Robbie (Sarah), Jonathan Pienaar (Mato) and Margot Wood (Rena) are alright, while I always like seeing Eric Roberts (Horne) in a film. The onshore locations look quite nice, also. As for the downsides, the score and pacing are two issues. Alongside that, you've got the already mentioned poor CGI but also the dialogue; which is very basic. 'Monster Island' definitely has more cons than pros, unfortunately. Not horrific, but not at all good either. See more 07/06/2020 One of the worst movies I've ever seen.
