This movie has a seriously quirky script with potholes and real dialogue gaps....not to overlook some predictability. And, Jeff Beal's score is just beautiful. The entire movie, I found myself going "Huh?!? Weird!" Go find a backed-up toilet to unclog instead. Compared to this movie, it'll stink less and not be nearly as shitty. See more Alex G @RT11460946 11/02/2024 There is a gorgeous tale within the film about brotherhood, the love between them in the face of adversity, the loyalty between the two and the frictions as each tries to reconcile themselves to their father in their own ways. Otherwise it’s a dull story of a bad father who the writing goes very easy on. Luckily, there’s an assortment of supporting characters who help Ethan Hawke and Ewan McGregor work through their baggage, often with a patience and care that defies explanation.
