Besides singing his greatest hits, Bruce Springsteen also does a lot of talking in this high-power account of his ongoing concert tour...Occasionally he goes off script — or seems to — and that’s when we really get to learn a thing or two about The Boss.

Subjectively I don’t like him politically or socially. Nor do I particularly like his commentary on other artists like Elvis or others. Nebraska was his only masterpiece. Objectively, this piece was sort of a drag. I agree with some of the other none pro reviews up to this point.

This movie was a complete bore. If you want a depressing movie about an interesting character, this is for you. Very little insight into the musician. Very hard to sit through.

This film to me just misses the heart & soul that that Springsteen brings to the table. His music at the time was the sound of blue collar America, the film to me does not give that amazing feeling, it skins over it all with no feeling or depth, shame as it therefore becomes another too long rock biopic without much pace.
