See more andrea C @Charst Mar 10 La pausa di qualche anno dal precedente capitolo fa bene alla saga, che torna sfornare un film divertente e spettacolare; seppure Roger Moore inizi a mostrare i primi segni di invecchiamento, la sceneggiatura è finalmente ben rappresentata e con un villain non banale, soprattutto con sequenze altamente spettacolari ed originali. L'acqua la fa da padrona e la nave che inghiotte i sottomarini, così come le sequenze sulla costa della Sardegna, sono esotiche ed iconiche. Anche la componente femminile tiene testa all'agente segreto con arguzia e spietatezza aggiungendo tensione ed elettricità al contesto. To stop villain Stromberg from nuking NYC & Moscow. In This movie , were introduced to Jaws (Richard Kiel) Who becomes a staple bad guy in Bond franchise. This is a decent James Bond movie. Not the best of them. But entertaining. See more Yaaron R @KompetenterMedi Feb 3 Underwater spectacle, surface-level nonsense The Spy Who Loved Me has some fun ideas, especially the submarine car and the underwater setting, and the gadget side of Bond finally feels like it is improving. Unfortunately, the film still collapses under shallow writing. The villain is "evil because evil," killing allies just to look ruthless, which makes the whole scheme feel irrational. Bond’s romance scenes are not only dated, they are badly written and take up too much space, and he keeps getting caught, killing any sense of competence. The hand to hand action is faster than earlier entries but still unconvincing, with sped up footage that looks silly. Jaws comes off more cartoonish than threatening.
