With the imminent destruction of Krypton, their home planet, Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and his wife seek to preserve their race by sending their infant son to Earth. The child's spacecraft lands at the farm of Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane) Kent, who name him Clark and raise him as their own son. Though his extraordinary abilities have led to the adult Clark (Henry Cavill) living on the fringe of society, he finds he must become a hero to save those he loves from a dire threat.

Cavill's Clark Kent/Superman won me over surpringly when I had doubt after we lost Routh! Snyder's story was so so... but he gave us great visuals and actions which I wanted!

Best version of Superman. Flash backs give you how he was raised. Followed by the man he became. Leading up to becoming the hero. Wasn't the best Clark Kent (that's still all Reeves). Unlike most adaptations we see how the human race would really react to a alien being such as Superman and also how Superman first day on the job as the symbol of hope would go. Its refreshing to see Supe in a different light than the typical bright, colorful, upbeat for no reason style. Snyderverse for the most part was bad this wasnt not one of them.

Man of Steel is one of the most iconic superhero movies of 2013 with a massive scale, powerful action, and impressive visual effects. The story is well made and shows the journey of Clark Kent in a serious and emotional way. Henry Cavill delivered a great performance as Superman and perfectly matched the role with his strong screen presence and physique. The movie also has intense fight scenes, emotional moments, and an epic showdown that makes it entertaining from start to finish. A great movie for anyone who enjoys action, superhero films, and cinematic visuals.

This movie is genuinely so FUCKING boring, no color, the dialogue is mid at best, it was just kick-kick, punch-punch for an hour and a half.Another Zack Snyder movie with a trillion hours of introduction for the plot to be so thin. Again when it comes to Zack Snyder's casting and scripts, the cast seem like corporate employees with almost little to zero chemistry between them. Clark and Lois feel like a PR couple, Pa Kent's death is the dumbest scene ever.
