Grace is a motivated career woman, married to the co-host of a show she produces on television. The 24 Hour Woman is a message picture wrapped inside a screwball comedy, with an touch of satire aimed at TV talk shows. It doesn't all work, but it happens so fast we don't get stuck in the awkward parts.

This film accurately depicts social norms, double standards, and how mothers are often perceived and treated at the workplace. Also takes a hit at television and the extent they're willing to go for ratings.

Savoca's Sundance-premiered film is timely, dealing with women's problems in balancing career, marriage, and family, but it's poorly executed and monotonously acted by Rosie Perez, who comes across as hysterical and shrill.
