Documentary filmmaker Michael Malone (Kevin Farley) makes movies about America's shortcomings and is now embarking on a campaign to abolish July 4th. However, he meets John F. Kennedy (Chriss Anglin) on the eve of the holiday, who tells Malone that he will soon be visited by three ghosts. The spirits of a country singer (Trace Adkins), Gen. George S. Patton (Kelsey Grammer) and George Washington (Jon Voight) visit Malone and try to instill a sense of patriotism and love for his country.

Utterly asinine, sophomoric, tasteless, the movie has much in common with Zucker's Airplane!, The Naked Gun 2 1/2 and Scary Movie sequels, minus the laughs.

It often takes mockery and even silliness to make one see the best and worst of a situation or themselves or just have to have some fun and it always seems to be funnier when done on film and by David Zucker.

Read every negative review, this is what makes this movie hilariously great. It's a funny, witty, comedy, great cast, and it was done very, very well. This movie exposes the biased views in Hollywood, and how the things you see in movies then, and especially movies now, are geared to making you hate people on the conservative side of the political spectrum, when they're just normal people like anyone else, not crazy people who want to restrict your freedom, just good, America loving people who simply don't share the same political beliefs. My favorite bit? The ACLU lawyers. Pure Comedy Gold. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because the bit with Michael Moor- I mean, Michael Moone, getting smacked constantly got a little annoying. Other than that, every bit was hilarious.

Holy smokes this was funny! I never heard of it until I came across it on Amazon. I figured I'd give it a try seeing as it was satire and made by David Zucker. This movie is so politically incorrect, but very humorous. All the bad reviews are I'm sure non-right leaning political people that can't take humor that makes fun of their party. It's just comedy folks!

Well done original take on "A Christmas Carol". Set aside partisanship. Laugh at the funny (not all is slapstick). Kevin Farley rolls with the changing scenes and pacing. Jon Voight's George Washington is unforgettable.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, o filme traz uma sátira do documentário do Michael moore e outros coisas, so que o filme tem um pouco de piadas pesadas, a história não tem sentido, com coisas de várias épocas e ainda o cara se teletransporta para essas epocas e fala com os caras de cada época, o filme tenta ser engraçado mas não consegue.
