There some ambiguity with the ending, lending to multiple interpretations, if you choose to see it that way, which is a plus here. Mads is excellent as always. After Mads performed in Dr. Strange I was always looking forward to seeing his new works! Arctic is a really great movie! You have to watch to see how a man try to search for hope in Arctica! See more Michael L May 19 This movie started so promisng. Everything abut the first half was pitch perfect. At a certain point I think the writers realised that maybe the movie should be about something more a fight for survival. But they never fugured out what. Then when they realised they were getting boring and redundant they threw in some drama that had no bearing on reality. Essentially with nothing to say it became a waste of time. There are actually quite a few "survivor" movies and even in the Snow type ones that have touched on all this before and did it better. Mads is great as is to be expected but this could've been made for TV and delivered the same. I am glad I watched it, it wasn't a waste of my time= but not keeping it for my collection. Everest or Alive are way better and of the genre. Temos vários filmes, neve, mar, montanha, Fogo, Ilha,... São várias situações, onde pode deixar as pessoas em estado de sobrevivência. Dramas solitários ou grupos e até com cães. E um dos mais preferidos são as quedas de avião em montanhas com gelo e neve. E assim até um filme ganha Oscar. Aqui temos Overgard (Mikkelsen) um ator que gosto de seus filmes. Um ator com expressão homem de gelo. E aqui literalmente esta no gelo. Depois que seu avião cai nas montanhas ele luta pela sobrevivência. Depois de passado uns dias, uma equipe de socorro vai até, ele porem, o helicóptero também cai, onde morre o piloto e sobrevive apenas Maria (Thelma) que no filme todo fica em cima de uma maca, pois esta entre a vida e morte. E quando Overgard vê que a saúde dela esta por um fio, decide ir até a cidade carregando Maria. Porém muitos obstáculos aparecem. Urso, Frio, cair em uma fenda, e lutar pela sobrevivência. Roteiro e enredo já conhecidos mas que a atuação de Mikkelsen dão um tempero. Vale apena assistir? Sim pra aqueles que gosta do gênero. Nota: 6 See more Read all reviews
