Greta and her songwriting partner/lover Dave head for New York when he lands a record deal with a major label. However, Greta is suddenly left on her own when Dave gives in to the temptations that come with his newfound success. Things take a turn for the better for her when Dan, a disgraced record executive, discovers Greta performing in a club. A mutually life-changing bond forms between the pair as they work together on Greta's first album.

Begin Again is the best sort of summer movie, with great performances and a solid core. It's clearly a work that comes from love shared by people who enjoyed making it, and that makes it fun for us to watch out in the audience, too.

The film explores how other options could've come into play, but you still have to deal with it and you don't have to stay stuck in the heartache. The exploration of that theme is fascinating and handled really well here.

ending is realistic wherein keira realizes they grow apart on a separate scenarios. and contentment and letting go is the factor of it.

I enjoyed this movie about a Brit who comes to New York City because her boyfriend is getting a record deal. She's a very talented songwriter and he's a budding rock/pop star. Her entry to stardom takes a different path that includes a washed up music producer, a big-time rap artist, and some friends. It's good stuff.

I’ve watched this movie 100 times over the years and I appreciate it a little more each time. What an absolute gem. The music is so good and is what makes this movie even better, and the actors were phenomenal. If you haven’t seen it, watch it, you won’t be sorry!

Shred emotions, emerge feel-good? Hell yes. Music fuelled rebirth? Take me in flat!!! Every tune had soul. Every instrument spoke. Violet's 'Tell me if you wanna go' final guitar bit? Oh my gosh took my heart straight away. Too good!
