The life of 11-year-old Billy Elliot, a coal miner's son in Northern England, is forever changed one day when he stumbles upon a ballet class during his weekly boxing lesson. Before long, he finds himself in dance, demonstrating the kind of raw talent seldom seen by the class' exacting instructor, Mrs. Wilkinson. With a tart tongue and a never-ending stream of cigarettes in her hand, Mrs. Wilkinson's zest for teaching is revived when she sees Billy's potential.

Best movie about your dreams to come true and to be passionate in what you're doing I loved seeing this movie and I got emotional too as because this movie looks so realistic I've never seen such an inquisitive film this movie is so good

Not a movie about a boy doing ballet- forget that. When you're surprisingly knocked off your feet and fascinated by the energy of characters fighting for their desire and thrashing against the inadequacy bullying them in their lives, you'll find Billy Elliott. Truly, truly an uplifting but gutsy film.

Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são bacaninhas com um drama bom, a história é mais ou menos, o elenco é mais ou menos, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são mais ou menos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, mas o drama do filme foi o suficiente para o filme ser bacaninha.
