Love Ernie Dingo's character and charm, Rocky was great, as was Geoffrey Rush, Magda, Deborah Mailman, and all the other main characters. Enjoy the humour, fun dances,music and songs. See more Eric C 05/22/2023 This is a timeless movie. It historically was a stage play performed in Broom Western Australia for many seasons. There is a movie that shows the history of the stage play being written and snippets of it being performed. [Australian Actor Ernie Dingo - much younger - was in the original stage play]. I have traveled through Broom, and watched several Australian moves on screen at the Broom Picture Garden. Red Dog another winner [take your smile and a handkerchief with you] shows the Picture Garden in one of it's Memorable scenes. I also had the pleasure of seeing Live : The Pigrim Brothers Band, Ernie Dingo, Jessica Mauboy Australian singer and a few others. It's a 1960s romance story but the back story of intolerance is very powerful.
