It's very funny, and I like that it's not The Wolf of Wall Street. Go to Full Review

…Bull Run is worth digging out as a less excitable, and more succinct take on financial whizzes than The Wolf of Wall Street…dry, salacious and witty, viewers may well prefer the less amped-up version here… Go to Full Review

It's a flashy film with a solid cast and superb blackly comical moments, but it's virtually impossible to care about anything that happens. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 2d Bull Run is a decent enough business drama that is elevated almost entirely by Tom Blyth, who once again proves that he is a genuinely strong and compelling actor. The film dives into a corporate world filled with pressure, ambition, and manipulation, but it leans far too heavily on narration to carry the story. Instead of allowing the plot and characters to naturally unfold, the movie often feels like it is explaining itself every step of the way, which makes the screenplay come across flatter than it should. That said, Blyth’s performance keeps the film grounded and engaging, even when the material around him starts to lose momentum. He brings enough emotion and intensity to make you stay invested, even if you still find yourself wanting more from the story itself. Overall, Bull Run is not a bad movie at all, but it is not one that leaves a lasting impact either. It is watchable, respectable, and held together by a lead performance that deserves far more than the script gives it.
