It’s fun watching the chickens break into this retro-futuristic farm, but the tension is mostly flat. I enjoyed myself, but is “cute enough” enough for a 23-years-later sequel?

Sam Fell’s film is almost as impeccable as that which came before it. Whereas the first Chicken Run told a tale to mirror and highlight the tragedies of history, Dawn of the Nugget is representative of the post-modern world controlled by capital.

My thought of the movie overall was gods the only but which got my confused on is when they showing the island in the first movie and there is no house which are build and in this movie it show there are house which are built and also where are they getting the resources from and also the best part is where ginger enemy turns into a nugget and still goes and attack her after been put through a processed food machine but then also as well max use a laser Ed eye duck to make popcorn it shown that duck but through away from the site and it doesn’t show them going back for the duck

A sequel definitely wasn't needed and kinda worsen the original's ending. However while this movie isn't as great as the first one (and i don't think was intended to be) it's still an okay watch, not great, sometimes dumb but it's not horrible. It's just very different and don't view it as a chicken run 2

The movie answers the question, can an unnecessary sequel be good? And honestly? Yes it can, I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was a solid continuation of the chicken run story, but it definitely has it's problems
