People often throw around the term slow burn whenever a film has pacing issues. It is a signal that the audience needs to be patient in an age where people consume media in shorter and shorter formats, patience is a virtue in limited supply.

I guess I buck the review trend on this film. I thought the storytelling and direction was well done and the performances of from Moore Sweeney and Hall to be memorable. The film does have some portholes in the third act, which does impede the overall production. Still, better than an expected and generally a notch above most I see.

Ignore all negative reviews. I literally made this account in order to say - this movie was beautiful. Riveting. Twists when you least expect them. The chemistry between all actors was perfect. Every role done perfectly. Loved loved loved it.

The mistakes this movie made overshadowed its positive aspects. While I found some enjoyment in the good parts, the bad ones were truly awful. The film employed the trope of making the worst mistakes nobody would truly make. However, it takes a surprising turn in the final 10-15 minutes with a mind-bending twist that you wouldn’t expect. It’s an enjoyable watch, but it does have its slow and drawn-out moments.
