See more Susan S @RT57317152 Sep 7, 2026 Eden Lake is possibly the most evil story that could be written about feral youth and their truly despicable parents. This story has no redeeming features apart from two very explicit truths. There are very real people who live through this kind of fear and threat every day. There are families out there who are actually like this and is proof positive that Hell is very, very real and exists only in THIS life. The second, this being a British story, is the total vulnerability of ordinary people who don’t have either the training or the weapons needed for self defence. Which is entirely the fault of British lawmakers. In that respect, Eden Lake is an excellent depiction of what can happen to anyone who doesn’t prepare. See more Read all reviews
