Joaquin U @Joaquin1 Jul 24 Somewhat entertaining, with solid cinematography and a decent cast. The plot is bare‑bones: move from point A to point B, mowing down everything in between. The Germans are portrayed as lousy shots, suicidally reckless, and dumb, while the other side can toss a rock in the dark and somehow wipe out a dozen. It’s popcorn fare—the tank angle adds a bit of freshness since it hasn’t been milked to death. Still, best enjoyed by switching off your brain for a couple of hours. Instead of focusing on large battlefield strategy, the movie traps us inside a Sherman tank with men who are dirty, exhausted, terrified, and hardened by violence. The tank feels like both a weapon and a coffin. Brad Pitt is strong as Don "Wardaddy" Collier, giving him authority, toughness, and deep emotional weariness. Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal help make the crew feel damaged and lived-in, each bringing a different kind of fear, faith, anger, or survival instinct. The combat is vicious, loud, and stressful, with real physical weight behind every shell impact and mechanical failure. The grim tone can become exhausting, and the final stand stretches believability, but Fury is intense, well acted, and memorable. The battles are tense, loud, and claustrophobic, giving viewers a sense of just how dangerous armored warfare was. It was funny and serious at times and over all a good movie. The characters were great and in the biggest fan on how it ended but this is only the like second movie where you see a tanks point of view in “war”. See more selo H @uraverage_dumbreveiwer Jul 14 "do you think hitler would f**k us for a chocolate bar"- "wardaddy" | hands down one of funniest quotes of the movie now most people (who are most likely uneducated) are saying its not accurate... its as accurate as i can get, the haircuts sure, you're right about that they were not a thing at the time, but i did some simulations with a armor sim that uses the De Marre equation to see if the films armor is accurate and woah what a surprise it was :0 the panzer Faust pens the armor easily due to the sides only being like 36 mm. and the shot at the nose given by the (actual authentic) king tiger? yes the film is correct the shell does ricochet off the nose... AT THAT ANGLE anymore and the tank would have been cooked, oh and btw the acting was great. im terribly sorry for the spoilers but it had to be done to prove a point that the films armor was accurate (logistics, tactics sure not so much.) oh and also everyone hated nazis at the time, they weren't blood thirsty psychotic men.
