Max and Annie's weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks arranges a murder mystery party -- complete with fake thugs and federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn over the course of one chaotic night.

Harkening back to the mid-budget comedy movies that have sadly disappeared from the mainstream, Game Night is the sort of breezy movie that has great potential for universal appeal, if only people are able to find out about it.

I'm tired of Fake Reviews! This was a pretty funny movie! It had witty humor, and Justin Bateman's trademarked stone-faced, bewildered responses were pretty funny. Sure, the story is a little bit ridiculous, but completely acceptable in a fun and snappy comedy.

Hilarious from start to finish. Jokes kept on coming and the plot was great. I really enjoyed it and wish they made more comedies like this. I would put this on par with 21 jump street but more mature.

Date Night Movie Review My girlfriend and I picked this movie because the cast looked promising, but honestly, the whole thing felt like a huge stretch. Maybe kids would find it entertaining, but scene after scene I just got more frustrated with how far-fetched it became. It wasn’t funny enough to justify how unrealistic everything was, and nothing really made sense. Overall, it just didn’t land for us.
