The story is original and scary: see a live vampire birth for the first and only time I know of. A must view for all vampire buffs. See more 08/10/2020 Extremely campy, but oddly mean-spirited PG-rated vampire flick made less tolerable by the unfortunate lack of nudity and gore. Consistently silly dialogue is somewhat overcome by the actors' earnest delivery and WTF storyline. Viewing enjoyment will be considerably enhanced by sharing the experience with appreciators of early 70s, low-budget schlock art. A woman, raped by a vampire, has the son of the vampire, and then the son is a vampire who wants to get revenge for his mother by killing his father! What drama! I love this movie.
