Disagree with some other posts. Thought Nick Nolte was superb, as was the actress playing Matilda. The ups and downs of a person experiencing Alzheimer's are portrayed well, as is the effects on different family members. Filled with poignant moments, sadness and joy, you should watch it!

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. It’s clear that nobody involve in the making of this movie has ever had anything to do with anyone with dementia. The acting by the two leads is over the top and just bad. Matt Dillon sleeps his way through the entire thing. For some inextricable reason most of the cast are dressed as if it’s the 1930’s (despite prominent use of iPhones and iPads). Do yourself a favour- watch something (anything) else.

I have also watch the german version "Honig in mein kopf" who was 1000 times better then this !Nick Nolte as person with Alzheimer was not realistic ,Dieter Hallervorden was a person with Alzheimer !And Also Tilda Schweiger as his granddaughter was really adorable!

i LOVED the actress who plays the little girl named Tilda and her mom is good too but Nolte was awful in this and so was Eric Roberts who plays the dr.
