Awesome movie See more peter m @RT23053942 Jan 4 First of all, David Harbour was PHENOMENAL at playing Hellboy like he captured his main aspects almost perfectly similar to the comics, his deep rooted emotions, cockiness, how flashy he is and his way of feeling and acting which is great. BUT the movie lacks a main focus, the main storyline feels slightly rushed with more going on throughout the movie than it should, they could have chopped down on the amount of side story's and focused on one main one. Overall a solid movie which gets WAY too much hate just because it doesn't live up to the standards of the public or diehard nostalgia chasers who enjoyed the older movies and complain its not as good as the old movies or it wasn't as "comic accurate" which if you read the comics, then you would know that this movies portrayal is arguably BETTER!!! Also the unkept, rugged run down look is so so much better, especially when its David Harbour wearing it. People need to get a grip. The vulgar language, music tracks and bad choice of actors ruined this film completely, not to mention the actual storyline (if you can call it that) which did not make sense in the slightest as his father has died twice now.
