Seoul descends into chaos as a devil-worshipping criminal network emerges. In a desperate plea for salvation, the police turn to 'Holy Night'--a secretive trio of demon hunters armed with supernatural powers. Don Lee (Ma Dong-Seok) leads as Ba Woo, a powerhouse with immense physical strength. He's joined by Sharon (Seohyun), who can detect and exorcise demons, and Kim-kun (David Lee), their loyal support. When psychiatrist Jung-Won (Kyung Soo-Jin) begs for help to save her possessed sister Eun-Seo (Jung Ji-So), the team faces a terrifying force unlike any they've seen before.

Ma Dong-seok clobber dudes is one of modern action cinema’s great pleasures. What Holy Night: Demon Hunters, proposes is, what if there were demons and Ma punched them in the face, too? Sounds like a match made in heaven. Or hell, as the case may be.

A Frankenstein’s monster of a movie, Holy Night – Demon Hunters is assembled with familiar parts and intermittently shows few signs of life. Unfortunately, the film remains underwhelming and should have been left on the cutting room floor.

Don Lee (Train to Busan) is a throwback action movie star. He would fit perfectly into the testosterone laden 1980s Hollywood landscape. He is overflowing with charisma and absolutely commands the screen.

It certainly isn't a perfect film but it is creative and a hell lot of fun to watch. So many films these days try to go down the dark and moody road - it is good for a change to watch an action film that is all about fun.

I haven't seen an "exorcist" movie that was this good in decades (seriously!). The acting was great. The story pulled me in from the start and kept up the pace... I couldn't look away for a minute. It's a fun ride with martial arts and demons coming at you left and right! It even had a few humorous moments that were "fall out of your chair" funny. I loved it but now I want to know ... WHEN IS HOLY NIGHT: DEMON HUNTER II, coming out?
