Fred Flarsky is a gifted and free-spirited journalist who has a knack for getting into trouble. Charlotte Field is one of the most influential women in the world -- a smart, sophisticated and accomplished politician. When Fred unexpectedly runs into Charlotte, he soon realizes that she was his former babysitter and childhood crush. When Charlotte decides to make a run for the presidency, she impulsively hires Fred as her speechwriter -- much to the dismay of her trusted advisers.

I normally find Seth Rogan movies to be unforgivingly crude. This is no exception but for some reason, maybe it's Charlize coolness and sophistication, it works. Together with Therone they make this unlikely romcom work in a way that no Hallmark movie would never attempt. Great first kiss scene in the hotel basement in the Phillipines.

I absolutely loved this movie! It was hilarious from the very beginning with Seth Rogan's incredibly funny understated/self-deprecating humor without the intention of being self deprecating. Not to mention the physical prat falls were great!!! As funny as it was, I also found it really nostalgic growing up in the era from the flashback scenes. This just might be my favorite romantic comedy since When Harry Met Sally.
