Transported to a remote fortified outpost, Thomas and his fellow teenage Gladers find themselves in trouble after uncovering a diabolical plot from the mysterious and powerful organization WCKD. If it sounds like there isn't an original thought in The Scorch Trials' scripted head, you're right. But at least you won't be smacking yourself in the head trying to figure out what's going on.

Yes, there are the standard story beats to hit, but Wes Ball doesn't seem interested in simply hitting them and moving on. Instead, he wants to understand why something might happen and what the implications of it are.

Kinda boring. Has a good core story but falls short with dull interactions and some very slow portions. Some solid new characters though, and the opening and closing 25 minutes are peak. A very flawed movie, but has some standout scenes.

*SPOILERS AHAED!! OMG THIS WAS BETTER THAN THE 1st movie! Teresa is clearly brainwashed though which is sad but also angers me. I wish Winston didn’t have to die. Brenda should’ve died tbh I fear her character is not necessary. I’m so sad they got Minho but it set up for the third movie perfectly. I like how Aris knew immediately that Thomas could help them get out of the Scorch. I like how Newt calls Thomas “Tommy,” it shows they’re on a nickname basis. I didn’t like Jorge at first but he redeemed himself towards the end. Overall I reallyyy liked this movie. I think everyone needs to watch it if they haven’t yet.

Favourite movies ever DEFINITELY recommend it was perfect from beginning to end loved the plot. It made me sob laugh and fall in love with all the characters. If you haven’t seen you’re missing out go watch it!!!

Uma sequela que perdeu o norte. Depois de um primeiro filme promissor (onde a minha grande expectativa era vê-los a explorar o labirinto e a superar vários jogos lá dentro), Provas de Fogo abandona todo esse mistério isolado para se transformar num filme de zombies genérico, chato e sem identidade. Uma enorme desilusão.
